Mclaren wanted to create a way for their fans to celebrate the start of the new season. I helped them create an Augmented Reality experience that allowed users to size and place both Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz cars. Once placed they then had the ability to do a celebratory burnouts wherever they were.

We created a low-polly model of the MCL35 and then within Spark AR gave the user the ability to change the texture to match Lando or Carlos number (4 or 55). They also had the ability to scale the model so it could fit on a tabletop or street within the viewport to set the environment. Once placed the user used the "burnout button" to start doing donuts with their selected car and take video or screenshots to post to their Instagram story using a chosen hashtag.
